Beautiful set of Korean antique bone chopsticks with hand made persimmon wood case with Certificate of Origin
This set is from the Jeoson (Choson) period and is between 100 and 200 years old. Notice the beautiful grain in the wood.
This is an unusual set to find available. It was obviously made for someone quite wealthy. You can see that it was used by the few scratches visible in the pictures but was certainly well take care of for so many years of use.
There are two sets of chopsticks in the set. It might have been intended for a man and wife.
The chopsticks lie in seperate compartments in the case.
